The North Carolina Node is a partnership between Duke University, National Development and Research Institutes, the State of North Carolina and 22 community treatment programs distributed across the State. These programs, which include the major providers of treatment in North Carolina, serve more than 20,000 financially, culturally and ethnically diverse clients located in rural and urban settings. The programs include a therapeutic community, area mental health centers, private outpatient agencies, and regional residential addiction treatment centers. Treatments provided encompass a wide range of therapies, both behavioral and pharmacologic, for families, adolescents, and adults.
